Most New Moms are Full of Regret

Most pregnant women let themselves go, indulge in their cravings, stop exercising and use pregnancy as an excuse to eat the house.

There’s no denying that when you have a big belly, feel nauseous and have aches and pains – the last thing you feel like doing is getting up off the couch or thinking about what you’re about to put in your mouth.

And that’s why most pregnant women gain more weight than they should, struggle to lose the excess pounds afterwards, and feel miserable.

How many times do you hear moms complaining about the “last” five or ten pounds from pregnancy that they just CAN’T seem to lose?

And how many women do you know that have turned to using restrictive diets and strict exercising routines (all the weight-loss “tricks”) to get rid of those UNWANTED post-pregnancy pounds?

In fact, many women spend the rest of their lives feeling like they’ll never get their “pre-pregnancy” body back– they don’t feel sexy or attractive.

Should've, could've, would've – don’t let this happen to you. Don’t be full of regret.

You CAN make your pregnancy a SUCCESS for both baby and you – it’s not as hard as you think (and it WILL set you up for afterwards!).

It just takes a little effort for HUGE gains. I’ll coach you and show you how. Whether you're trying to fit a winter coat over your belly or worse yet, trying to find a bathing suit that looks good (for all of you who are lucky enough to be in a hot climate right now!).

To help you out, I've put together a list of my TOP 8 TIPS that will help you get through your pregnancy on a POSITIVE note - looking GOOD and feeling GREAT about yourself.

My TOP 8 TIPS to beat the EXTRA bulge:

Tip 1: Make an appointment with yourself to exercise (or even go for a walk). By scheduling in a workout, you're not only taking care of your health, but your baby's health too. So, even though you feel tight for time, do it anyway. (And of course always get your Doctor's OK before doing any exercise)

Tip 2: Do your workouts (or walk) in the morning. Why? Because the likelihood of you actually doing a work out strongly decreases as the day goes on - so don't procrastinate!

Tip 3: Sneak in activity as much as you can. If you increase your activity while you run errands (i.e. walking to the grocery store, instead of driving the car) you'll be more likely to maintain your exercise requirements (otherwise referred to as calorie output)

Tip 4: Carry healthy snacks with you at ALL times. Prevention WILL ward off that last minute greasy, high calorie, fast food choice that we all get stuck with when we feel famished and don't have a healthy alternative to choose from.

Tip 5: Don't go to events starving. Why? Because there is a huge tendency to overeat when you're starving. If you need to, eat something small (and healthy) before you leave home - it's also better for your baby this way!

Tip 6: Make sure you stay hydrated. A lot of the time people confuse thirst for hunger - so drink, drink and drink, and make sure you get your 10 glasses of water per day.

Tip 7: Keep your plate colorful. This way you'll increase your vitamins, fiber and bulk, without eating TONS of calories (i.e. having a salad with your meal, instead of just having a big plate of white pasta!)

Tip 8: Be mindful of what you put in your mouth! Most of us do the hand-to-mouth gesture automatically - especially during the holidays. Make sure you appreciate everything you put in your mouth (attending to how your food tastes and smells etc.). Another good tip is to count to 10 before swallowing each bite (this will force you to stay mindful!).
