was launched in the Autumn of 2005
Some five years
plus ago my first grandson was born, his baby sister was born in the
spring of 2005. Here is her picture isn't she cute.?
I had been toying with the
idea of maternity and baby clothing for sometime and decided to put it
into being in October 2005!
They live in the UK and we live
in Florida. If any of you have ever been to London then you
will have heard the saying "Mind the Gap." this gave me the idea for
"Mind-theBump". It has grown into a website and hopefully in a year or
two will grow into a store. When my new daughter-in-law discovered she
was pregnant, I decided now was the time. She said she would like to be
able to find something different, something fun and
up-to-date. As fate would have it, I came across a couple of
companies that were willing to work with me. It wasn't too long before
it began to take shape, and here we are.
We have a fabulous selection
for you with great sayings in maternity clothing, Daddy,
Toddler and baby clothing. Our name sake Mind-thebump
maternity tops with Swarovski crystals, embroidery and metal
are now being created in the USA..
From the UK come the fantastic tops
from Babu and from the USA we have some pretty tops with embroidery and
unusual sayings like "Goddess with a bump" from Preggersnproud worn by
Britney Spears and Kate Hudson, our name sake " Mind-the-bump" is now
being worn by happy Moms the world over. We are adding new
designs for toddlers and a new line of maternity Tees as of 11-25-06
As we grow so will the number of
designs we offer for mother, dad and baby. We're committed to bringing
some of the UK and USA's freshest designers into our stable. So stay
tuned...
As you know Oaks grow from Acorns,
life is about to burst forth, and Mind-theBump has set about
celebrating it.
